Prof. Vladimir Estivill
Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain
Bio: Vladimir Estivill-Castro is currently a full professor of the Department of Engineering at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), and a visiting Erskine Fellow at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. He has worked professionally in Mexico, the United States, Australia, Spain and Canada as a scholar, academic, consultant, programmer, project leader, and teacher. He holds a bachelor’s in mathematics and a master's in mathematics, as well as a master's in education and a doctorate in computer science. He pioneered privacy-preserving data mining. He received the Best PhD supervisor Award for Computer Science from the Australian Teaching and Learning Council in 2010. He is an expert in artificial intelligence, data science, robotics, and software engineering. His current research interests are machine ethics and model-driven engineering.

Assoc. Prof. Lorenzo Bettini

Previously, he was an Assistant Professor
(Researcher) in Computer Science at
Dipartimento di Informatica, Università di
Torino, Italy.
His research interests cover design, theory
and implementation of programming languages
with IDE support (in particular
Object-Oriented languages and Network aware
languages).
He is a committer of the Eclipse projects
Xtext and SWTBot, and the project lead of
the Eclipse project EMF Parsley.
